Abstract:Objective:To systemically evaluate the application value of aloe in the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy induced phlebitis. Methods:System evaluation was carried out according with the evaluation sys-tem process of PRISMA by using the RevMan 5 software and MEDLINE,EMBASE,Chinese retrieval Chinese Journal Full text Database,VIP and Wanfang database. Results:This study included 10 articles on the preven-tion of phlebitis and 6 articles on the treatment of phlebitis, involving a total of 4725 cases of clinical cases ac-cording to the standard process selection.Meta analysis results showed that compared with the conventional method, the total incidence of chemotherapy induced phlebitis in aloe ointment treatment group was low,OR was 0.13[95% CI (0.08,0.20),P <0.000 01].Further subgroup analysis showed that incidence and OR of Ⅰand Ⅱ,Ⅲ degree chemotherapy induced phlebitis were respectively 0.53[95% CI (0.21,1.33),P =0.18],0.10 [95% CI (0.07,0.14),P <0.000 01]and 0.10[95% CI (0.03,0.34),P =0.000 2]in Aloe ointment treatment group, which suggested that Aloe ointment could reduce the incidence of phlebitis of various degrees, compared with the Magnesium Sulfate group,RR of total effective rate and cure rate in aloe treating phlebitis were 1.29 [95%CI (1.1 9,1.39),P <0.000 01]and 2.38[95% and CI (1.27,4.47),P =0.007],there were statistically sig-nificant in differences. Conclusion:aloe ointment had certain application value in the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy induced phlebitis, but it still need further research.
