Influence of cognitive intervention on cognitive level and pregnancy outcome of pregnant women associated with in-trahepatic cholestasis

Abstract：Objective:To explore the influence of cognitive intervention on cognitive level and pregnancy outcome of pregnant women associated with intrahepatic cholestasis.Methods:A total of 88 pregnant women associated with intrahepatic cholestasis in this hospital from April 2013 to June 2015 were randomly divided into experi-mental group and control group,44 cases in each.The patients in control group were treated with routine nurs-ing intervention,in addition,the patients in experimental group were treated with cognitive intervention.The cognition status of both groups of patients were recorded at the end of the second week after intervention;com-pared liver function and pregnancy outcome two groups before and after intervention.Results:After 2 weeks of intervention,the cognitive status of patients between experimental group was higher than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In experimental group the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes was 20.5%(9/44),lower than 61.4%(27/44)in control group,the difference was statistically signifi-cant(P<0.05 ).Before the intervention,the liver function index had no significant difference between two groups,while after the intervention,alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST)of patients in experimental group were statistically significant lower than those in control group(P<0.05);total bilirubin(TBIL)between two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Cognitive intervention applied for pregnant women with intrahepatic cholestasis could help to improve their cognitive status and preg-nancy outcomes.
