Effectiveness and safety of no gastrointestinal decompression in patients with gastric cancer after surgery:a Meta analysis
Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of no gastrointestinal decompression in patients with gastric cancer after operation. Methods:The randomized conerlled trial,RCTs on clinical effect of hor gas-trointestinal decompression for postoperative gastric cancer patients in PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library, Web of Science,Chinese biomedical literature database,CNKI and Wanfang database were searched by comput-er.At the same time,it finds the documents which meet the requirements from the references,RevMan 5.20 software was used for statistical analysis.Results:7 articles were included, the experimental group of 531 cases and 539 cases in control group.Experimental group was compared with the control group,no gastrointestinal de-compression had shortened the hospitalization time[MD =-1.12,95%CI (1.98,-0.26),P =0.01)];there was no statistically significant difference in first exhaust time[MD =-0.33,95%CI (-0.69,0.02),P =0.07],inci-dence of pulmonary complications[RR=0.93,95%CI (0.53,1.61),P =0.79]and incidence of anastomosis fis-tula[RR=0.93,95%CI (0.52,1.65),P =0.80],incidence of nausea or vomiting[RR=0.63,95%CI (0.30,1.32), P =0.22]and mortality[OR=1.27,95%CI (0.34,4.78),P =0.72]between both groups. Conclusion:No post-operative gastrointestinal decompression was safe and feasible for patients with gastric cancer.
