Influence of family bed service on occupational stress level of community nurses and its countermeasures

Abstract:Objective:To probe into influence of family bed service on the occupational stress level of community nurses.Methods:A total of 112 community nurses were evaluated on the occupational stress level by using Job Content Questionnaire(JCQ)and Effort Reward Imbalance Questionnaire(ERI)before implementation of the family bed service and after 1 year.Results:Before and after the implementation of family bed service,there were significant differences in JCQ work requirements,social support score and ERI score in all dimensions(P<0.05). After the implementation of the family bed service,the incidence of occupational stress was significantly in-creased in a year after the implementation of family bed service,OR=3.55,95%CI was 2.00~6.29;After ERI grading of occupational stress and control of confounding factors,the incidence of occupational stress was sig-nificantly increased in the 1 year after the implementation of the family bed service,and the OR=4.16,95%CI was 2.23~7.74.Conclusion:With the continuous improvement of the content of family bed service,the occupa-tional stress level of community nurses also increased accordingly.The relevant health policy should be formula-ted aimed at the characteristics of family bed service,ease the job stress of this occupational population,so as to better protect their occupational health.
