Study on construction of performance evaluation system for head nurses in third grade hospitals based on main basic binary method

Abstract：Objective:To define the performance evaluation indexes of head nurses in third grade hospitals,and establish a set of scientific and comprehensive head nurse performance evaluation index system,and it was easy to operate.Methods:Under the guidance of main basic binary method,the method of literature,interview,Del-phy (Delphi)expert consultation and analytic hierarchy process were used to determine content and weight of the index,and formation of head nurse performance evaluation index system.Results:The performance evalua-tion index system of head nurses had the 2 main dimensions including main performance and basic performance, 13 primary indicators,38 secondary indicators;the main performance was divided into three sub dimensions in-cluding the dominant performance,temporary task and short board.Conclusion:the index system constructed in this study could objectively and comprehensively reflect the management level of the head nurses and improve the quality of nursing.
