Study on correlation between maternal role adaptation and their subjective well being in late pregnancy
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the correlation between mother role adaptation and their subjective well be-ing in late pregnancy.Methods:A total of 307 cases of pregnant women and puerperal were investigated by using the general situation questionnaire,the maternal role adaptation scale and the general well being scale in prenatal one week and postpartum 42 days.Results:149 cases of maternal had well adaption (48.5%),131 cases of ma-ternal had medium adaption(42.7%),27 cases of maternal had poor adaption(8.8%);maternal role adaptation was positive correlation with subjective well being of pregnant women and all dimensions;multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that subjective well being,planned pregnancy and life satisfaction and interest di-mension were main influencing factors of the mother role adaptation.Conclusion:there was a strong connection between mother role adaptation and subjective well being in the late pregnancy,the higher subjective well be-ing was,the better mother role adaption was.The intervention should start from the prenatal period in order to promote ability of mother role adaption.
