Status quo of knowledge attitude behavior of PICC pipeline maintenance in clinical nurses and analysis of its in-fluencing factors
Abstract：Objective:To investigate the status quo of knowledge attitude behavior of PICC pipeline mainte-nance in clinical nurses,and analyze its influencing factors,and put forward relevant measures aiming at the ex-isting problems,in order to provide the reference for carrying out the vein specialist training of PICC pipeline maintenance and constructing related quality control system.Methods:A total of 21 6 clinical nurses in 3 third grade A hospitals received the questionnaire by using the self design questionnaire and convenient sampling methods.Results:The correct answer rate of knowledge ability questionnaire in 21 6 nurses was 77.08%;belief ability scores were (total score was 70 points)distributed in 52 to 70 points,more than 88.9% of the nurses had positive attitude for the pipeline maintenance;behavior ability scores were (total score was 205 points)distribu-ted in 1 65 to 205 points.The patients'catheter maintenance behavior was affected by academic qualifications, professional title,number of catheter maintenance and whether the training was received or not.Conclusion:The knowledge attitude behavior level of PICC pipeline maintenance in clinical nurses was not optimistic,especial-ly in the aspect of knowledge capability,which should attach great importance to the training and quality con-trol,improve the nursing quality of PICC catheter maintenance and improve the service life of PICC catheter.
