Bibliometric analysis of psychological assessment and intervention for cancer patients by using scale in our country from 2001 to 2014

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the status quo of psychological assessment intervention on patients with cancer using psychological assessment scale by bibliometric analysis method recently in china,to understand the related development tendency and the exited problems.Methods:To search literature of the intervention on psy-chological evaluation of patients with cancer in Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure and Wanfang data-bases by NoteExpress software from 2001 to 2014.To analyze of Literature Metrology on the aspects of annual literature change,regional distribution,journal distribution,and scale usage by Excel setting related databases. Results:There were 660 papers related to psychological assessment scales from 2001 to 2014.And the number trends to increase.The top 5 journals published as follows:Chinese Journal of Clinical Rehabilitation,Nursing Research,Zhongguo Cancer and Rehabilitation,Journal of Nursing Science,and Journal of Qilu Nursing.Most papers were from Guangdong,Beijing,and Shanghai.The most used scales were Self rating depression scale, Quality of Life Questionare Core,and Self rating anxiety scale.Conclusion:More and more papers about psy-chological assessment scale for patients with cancer are reported,which revealed that psychological problems of patients with cancer are received more and more extensive attention.The role of nursing staff is important for the development for these scales.However,the usage of some of the scales is not so perfect.Psychology training is needed for medical workers.
