Observation on imtervention effect of cupping therapy for menstrual symptoms and depression in women with blood stasis
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of cupping therapy on menstrual symptoms and depression in woman with blood stasis.Methods:A total of 98 female patients with blood stasis were selected as the research objects,Who received cupping therapy(Balance Cupping and acupoint cupping)1 week before menstruation, once 3 days,twice a month,for three consecutive months,a total of six times.The menstrual symptoms and de-pression were compared before and after cupping.Results:The dysmenorrhea situation,menstrual blood clot, menstrual quantity and accompanying symptoms(breast pain,abdominal bulge,Lumbar and sacral pain,inter-menstrual bleeding,diarrhea,fatigue)of blood stasis women were improved after cupping(P<0.05),score and the incidence of depression also decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cupping therapy could alleviate the major and associated symptoms during menstrual,reduce the score and incidence of depression.It could be a kind of effec-tive method for menstruation and health care of blood stasis women.
