Influence of psychological resilience and self management efficacy on alexithymia of cancer patients

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the relationship among psychological resilience of cancer patients,self man-agement efficacy and alexithymia,and so as to provide the basis for alleviating the alexithymia of cancer pa-tients.Methods:A total of 376 cases of cancer patients were surveyed by using the Connor David Resilience Scale (CD RISC),Chinese Strategies Used by People to Promote Health (C SUPPH)and Tuenty Item To-ronto Alexithymia Scale (TAS 20).Results:The correlation analysis results showed that psychological resili-ence and self management efficacy were negatively correlated with alexithymia,psychological resilience was pos-itively related to self management efficacy;the regression analysis showed that positive attitude,self decision, ego decompression,tenacity,self renewal and optimistic had influence on the alexithymia of cancer patients;structural equation model analysis showed that the self management efficacy and psychological resilience had significant influence on alexithymia of cancer patients,self management efficacy sense had significant influence on psychological resilience ,and intermediary role of psychological resilience could affect alexithymia indirectly. Conclusion:The psychological resilience of cancer patient was lower,and they had obvious alexithymia.In clini-cal nursing work ,we should actively promote the level of psychological resilience of cancer patients and enhance their self management efficacy,so as to ease the alexithymia of cancer patients.
