Investigation on requirements of head of the nursing department for qualification of specialist nurses at all levels in third grade A hospitals in Shanxi province
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the qualification requirements of nursing experts for specialist nurses in dif-ferent levels,so as to provide the reference for selecting specialist nurses.Methods:A total of 54 nursing special-ists from the three grade hospitals in Shanxi province received the survey and the results were statistically ana-lyzed.Results:The primary nurse was the lowest title in all levels of specialist nurses;the minimum education of national specialist nurses was the undergraduate,the minimum working age was 5 years,the minimum work age of master degree in this profession was 2 years,while that of the bachelor degree was 3 years.The minimum ed-ucation of provincial and college level specialty nurses was junior college education,the minimum working age was 5 years,the minimum work age of master degree in this profession was 2 years,while that of the bachelor degree and junior college education was 3 years.Conclusion:The nursing experts have the different qualification requirements for specialist nurses in different levels,they should comprehensively consider the education,pro-fessional title,working years and the years of engaging in this profession when selecting the specialized nurses.
