Survey of willing of community elderly to pension manner and its influencing factors in northern Xinjiang in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

Abstract：Objective:To know about the willing of community elderly to pension manner and its influencing fac-tors in northern Xinjiang in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,and to analyze its influencing factors so as to provide references for the pension service provided by the government.Methods:A total of 549 old people in the northern Xinjiang in 5 cities total 12 communities were investigated by using self made “elderly pension manner choice willings questionnaire”.Results:The results showed that in the northern Xinjiang,79.78% of old people chosed family pension.10.02% of old people chosed agencies pension.10.20% of old people’s chosed community pension.Age,nationality,region,education level,monthly income and self care ability were the main influencing factors of selection of elderly pension manner.Conclusion:Although the family pension was the pre-ferred pension manner among the elderly in northern Xinjiang areas,the demand of community pension and a-gencies pension has increased,and the elderly pension manners needed to develop and perfect.
