Analysis of correlation between knowledge and behavior of minority hypertensive patients on hypertension preven-tion and treatment in Yunnan province
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the situation of knowledge and health behaviors of minority hypertensive pa-tients on hypertension prevention and treatment in Yunnan province,and to detect the correlation between them.Methods:A total of 200 cases of minority hypertensive patients were drew out from 10 general hospitals by using convenience sampling and were investigated by using health promoting lifestyle scale and hypertension prevention and treatment knowledge questionnaire.Results:Hypertension prevention and treatment knowledge was positively correlated with health responsibility,taking medicine and salt intake in health behaviors of hyper-tensive patients(P <0.05).There were positeve correlations between knowledge of daily life and defecation,diet related knowledge and nutrition,medication knowledge and medication behavior,diet knowledge and salt intake, medication knowledge and health responsibility(P <0.05).Conclusion:Disease knowledge of minority hyperten-sive patients may affect their health behaviors,the better the knowledge was mastered,the better the healthy behaviors were.
