Reform and practice of undergraduate nursing courses guided by clinical comprehensive ability

Abstract:Objective:To improve nursing teaching,and train quasi nurse with clinical comprehensive ability and in line with the needs of nursing post.Methods:The nursing undergraduate students were taken as the research objects,and they were randomly divided into control group and teaching reform group based on the teaching classes.The students in control group followed the traditional method;the students in teaching reform group used the diversified curriculum teaching model.The self designed comprehensive ability training course distribu-tion quantitative index was referring to implement management,and reform the course exams and graduation exams.Results:The approval rate of students in teaching reform group for reform was 82.1% ~ 96.6%;the teaching reform group was superior to the control group in the graduation performance,the number of winners, the number of outstanding students and the grade of the hospital(P <0.05).The difficulty coefficient of all i-tems in competency elements evaluation was 0.632 ~0.740,and the discrimination degree was 0.304~0.680. Conclusion:The students in teaching reform group have the higher approval rate for the reform,the difficulty degree of competency elements evaluation is moderate and the distinction is good;the diversified teaching model and reformed examination styles can improve students’clinical comprehensive ability and quality.
