Study on correlation between anxiety,depression status and quality of life of patients with inflammatory bowel dis-ease
Abstract:Objective:To probe into the relation between anxiety,depression status and the quality of life of pa-tients with inflammatory bowel disease(IBD).Methods:A total of 102 cases of IBD patients receiving family nu-trition were surveyed by using IBDQ,SAS and SDS.Results:The incidence of anxiety in IBD patients was 47.06% and the incidence of depression was 65.69%.There was statistically significant difference in the intestinal symp-toms,systemic symptoms and total score among different degrees of anxiety groups of IBD patients (P <0.05);there was statistically significant difference in intestinal symptoms,systemic symptoms,emotional ability and total scoreamong the different degree of depression groups of IBD patients (P <0.05 );there was statistically significant difference in intestinal symptoms,systemic symptom and total score among the IBD patients whether with anxiety and depression or not(P <0.05 ).The intestinal symptoms,systemic symptom,emotional ability and total score in depression score and quality of life score showed the negative correlation in IBD patients(P <0.01),IBD patients’anxiety score was negatively correlated with intestinal symptoms,systemic symptom and total score (P <0.01).Conclusion:IBD patients had obvious anxiety and depression,their quality of life was sig-nificantly reduced and the quality of life was closely related to the anxiety and depression.The more serious their mood of anxiety and depression was,the lower their quality of life was.
