Status quo of humane care quality of nursing students before and after practice

Abstract：Objective:To compare the status quo of humane care quality of nursing students between in grade 3 and grade 4 after clinical practice.Methods:A total of 1 18 cases of nursing students in grade 3 and 49 cases of nursing students after clinical practice in grade 4 in a university were investigated by using Nurse Humane Care Quality Scale(nursing students'version).Results:The total score of humane care quality of nursing students af-ter clinical practice in grade 4 was higher than that of students in grade 3 (P > 0.05 ),and the score in both grades was at the medium level.Caring ability dimension scores of students in grade 4 were much higher than that of students in grade 3(P <0.05),which was reflected in item 23(problem solving skills),item 25 (emo-tional communication skills),item 29 (interpersonal coordinationability).Conclusion:Nursing education need to strengthen the cultivation of humane care quality of nursing students,need the universities and clinical education together to build nursing professional values and should especially pay attention to guiding students’care philos-ophy,strengthen the practical training link of nursing students’humane care ability and think highly of the dem-onstrating function of teachers.
