Application of Delphi method in construction of epidemiological investigation tool for pressure ulcers and other skin injuries

Abstract：Objective:To design an epidemiological investigation tool of pressure ulcers and other skin injuries which can reflect the epidemiological characteristics of skin injuries indirectly,and so as to provide the basis for effective interventions in clinical practice.Methods:Through reviewing the literatures at home and in abroad and carrying out data integration,initially epidemiological investigation tools for pressure ulcers and other skin inju-ry(draft)was formed A total of 26 experts were selected to evaluate the initial formation of investigation tools for the 3 rounds with Delphi method.Epidemiological investigation tool for pressure ulcers and other skin inju-ries.was designed according to the experts proposed amendments,and through analyzing the expert positive co-efficient,degree of authority and the degree of coordination to test the content validity.Results:The positive co-efficients of experts in the 3 rounds of consultation were 96.3%,100.0% and 100.0% respectively.The authori-ty degree of the experts was 0.83.After 3 rounds of consultation,the coefficient of variation of each index was 0.055 0.234.Conclusion:Pressure ulcers and other skin injury epidemiology research tool can effectively and comprehensively reflect the pressure ulcers and other skin injury situation,help to understand the status quo of the prevention of skin injury,and provide the basis for effective interventions in clinical practice.
