Research on application effect of team type empowerment education in exercise therapy of patients with type 2 dia-betes mellitus
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of team type empowerment education on exercise therapy of discharged patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:A total of 90 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,45 cases in each.The patients in control group received conventional health education and follow up service.The patients in experimental group were given empowerment theory based diabetes education for 3 months.The blood glucose,HbA1c,blood pressure and blood lipid were detected before and after 3 months between both groups.Results:After the intervention, fasting blood glucose and 2 h postprandial blood glucose in experimental group were significantly lower than those in control group at all time points,and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).The compli-ance rate of HbA1 c and blood lipid in experimental group was significantly higher than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:The exercise therapy of diabetes mellitus patients guided by empowerment theory has a significant promoting effect for improving the blood glucose and blood lipid control,and enhancing the compliance rate of blood glucose and blood pressure.
