Study on influence of spiritual care on stress pressure,social support and quality of life of gynecological cancer pa-tients’spouses

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of implementation of spiritual care interventions for the stress pressure,quality of life of social support and the spouses of gynecologic cancer patients after surgery.Methods:A total of 70 spouses of patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,35 cases in each,the spouses in control group received the missionary hospital and disease related knowledge of general nursing;the spouses in experimental group received the spiritual care on the basis of general care.Spiritual care was carried out by the spiritual care post members when the spouses accompanied their wives admission,treat-ment and before discharging;The families stress scale(RSS),the spouse of quality of life scale(QOL)and social support scale for cancer patients were used to evaluate the stress pressure,social support and quality of life of the spouses,and then to evaluate the intervention effect.Results:There was a significant change in dimensions of RSS score,objective and subjective support,utilization of support,health,life satisfaction,psychological coping and positive inflnence between before and after intervention in experimental group,and the difference was statis-tically significant(P <0.05 ).Betncen experimental group the control group,there was statistically significant difference in stress pressure and quality of life of spouses of gynecological cancer patients(P <0.05),there was no statistically significant difference before and after the intervention in control group(P >0.05 ).Conclusion:Spiritual care can reduce stress pressure of spouses of gynecologic cancer patients after surgery,and can enhance their social support level and the quality of life.
