Influence of family members strengthen education on interdialytic weight of diabetic nephropathy patients

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of family members strengthen education on interdialytic weight control of diabetic nephropathy patients.Methods:A total of 50 diabetic nephropathy patients who received the maintenance hemodialysis and their weight increased relative value ≥5% and their family members were select-ed and were randomly divided into the observation group and control group,25 cases in each.The patients and their family members in control group received the routine health education at the same time of receiving the routine treatment.While the patients and their family members in observation group were given family mem-bers strengthen education.Then to compare patients’interdialytic weight (IDWG)/ dry weight ratio,fluid in-take compliance,blood pressure and each serum index between both groups at 6th months after intervention. Results:Patients’IDWG/dry weight ratio in observation group after intervention was lower than that in control group,However,the fluid intake compliance was higher than that in control group.In addition to the parathy-roid hormone,all serum indexes in observation group were better than that in control group.And there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The family members strengthen education can strength-en the patients’interdialytic weight control,make every index maintain in the normal range,so as to delay the development of disease.
