Influence of self made breastfeeding manual combined with postpartum telephone guidance on infant feeding atti-tude of maternal

Abstract：Objective:To probe into the influence of self made breastfeeding manual combined with postpartum telephone guidance on infant feeding attitude of maternal.Methods:A total of 3 1 3 maternal were included in the study by using the cluster sampling method,the maternal in control group (n=148)received the conventional care.Maternal in observation group(n=165)applied “self made breastfeeding manual”for health education during hospitalization.And the first breastfeeding telephone guidance was carried out at 5th week and 11th week after birth.The infant feeding attitude scale was filled out respectively postpartum 3 days,6 weeks,3 months later.Results:Two factor variance analysis showed that there was statistically significant difference in the in-fant feeding attitude of maternal between time,between groups,and interaction effect between the group(P<0.05). Postpartum 3 d,6 weeks and 3 months later,the score of infant feeding attitude of the maternal in observation group was higher than that in control group during the same period(P<0.05).The score of infant feeding atti-tude of maternal in observation group postpartum 6 weeks later was higher than that in postpartum 3 d and 3 months later(all P<0.01).Conclusion:The self made breastfeeding manual combined with postpartum tele-phone guidance intervention can significantly improve the breastfeeding attitude of maternal and the intervention effect lasted until postpartum 3 months.
