Abstract：It introduced the treatment effect ,influencing factors ,actuation duration of external application of Chinese medicine treatment of cancer pain .And it introduced the comparison between toxicity comparis of ex‐ternal application of Chinese medicine and Western medicine three step analgesic .It pointed out that the w est‐ern medicine in the treatment of cancer pain has large toxicity and side effect and strong dependence .T raditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of cancer pain has some advantages including smaller poisonous and side re‐action and exact curative effect .
