Influence of continuity of care on quality of life of patients after cardiac valve replacement
Abstract:Objective:To probe into the influence of continuity of care on quality of life of patients after cardiac valve replacement after discharged .Methods:A total of 46 cases of patients with mechanical heart valve replace‐ment were randomly divided into observation group (23 cases) and control group (23 cases) .Patients in control group received routine treatment and nursing ,and patients were given conventional discharge guidance after dis‐charged;on the basis of routine nursing ,the patients in observation group were given systematic continuity of care for 1 years ,then to compare drug compliance ,the incidence of complications ,satisfaction and quality of life of patients between both groups .Results:The drug compliance ,quality of life scores and patients’ satisfaction in half a year and 1 year after operation in observation group were significantly higher than that of control group , and the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .05);complications and adverse reactions were lower than that in control group ,and the difference was statistically significant (P<0 .05) .Conclusion:The continuity of care can help to improve the drug compliance ,patients’ satisfaction and quality of life of patients after cardiac valve replacement ,and reduce the incidence of complications .
