Analysis on correlation between postoperative psychological distress and quality of life of patients with gastric carci-noma
Abstract：Objective:To analyze the status quo of postoperative psychological distress of gastric cancer patients , and probe into the correlation betw een psychological distress and their quality of life .Methods:T he Health Re‐lated Quality of Life(QLQ C30) and psychological Distress Thermometer(DT) were used to make investiga‐tion for 80 cases of postoperative patients with gastric cancer in two three grade A hospitals in Anhui province from 2012 October to 2013 December .Results:The DT Score of objects was(5 .4 ± 2 .2) ,and psychological dis‐tress was more remarkable .Those with the highest distress degree were the economic problems ,pain ,worry , limited physical activity ,tension and eating in tum ;Quality of Life Selt Rating Score was(2 .8 ± 1 .1);psycho‐logical distress was negatively related to quality of life(r= -0 .497 ,P<0 .01) .Conclusion:The postoperative o‐verall quality of life of patients with gastric cancer is not high ,and psychological distress was obvious .During nuising care of them ,the psychological status of patients should be thought highly of ,the therapeutic communi‐cation should be enhanced ,and then to improve the patients'quality of life .
