Effect of TCM mental nursing intervention for improving post traumatic stress disorder of accident fracture pa-tients

Abstract：Objective:To study the influence of TCM mental nursing on the post traumatic stress disorder of ac‐cident fracture patients .Methods:The fracture patients hospitalized in orthopedics department from 2012 July to 2014 June were selected in our hospital .Under informed consent ,the patients from 2012 July to 2013 June were taken as control group (100 cases) ,who received the general treatment and care for 2 weeks ;patients from 2013 July to 2014 June were taken as intervention group (100 cases) ,who received TCM mental nursing for 2 weeks . PTSD and mental status of fracture patients were evaluated by using symptoms checklist civilian version (PCL C) and (SCL 90) on one~two days and at two weeks after intervention respectively .The scores of PCL C and SCL 90 were observed and compared between both groups after the intervention .Results:The scores of PCL C ,SCL 90 in patients in intervention group after intervention were lower than that in control group (P<0 .05) ,the incidence of post traumatic stress disorder was lower than that in control group .Conclusion:TCM mental nurs‐ing can reduce the post traumatic stress disorder of accident fracture patients .
