Influence of“playing a relative role”on preoperative psychological state of elderly tumor patients undergoing inter-ventional operation
Abstract:Objective:To probe into influence of “playing a relative role” on preoperative psychological state of elderly cancer patients undergoing interventional operation .Methods:A total of 80 cases of elderly cancer pa‐tients undergoing select interventional operation were randomly divided into experimental group and control group ,40 cases in each .Before intervention two groups of patients operation ,received routine preoperative prep‐aration according to the standards of high quality nursing care ,on that basis ,the patients in experimental group were given the“playing a relative role” psychological intervention .The plasma ACTH and cortisol were moni‐tored in both groups respectively on the first day in hospital and before anesthesia and the patients were evalua‐ted by SAS .The study adopted random design completely ,and two paired samples T test of measurement data was applied as statistical method .Results:On the first day in hospital ,there was no statistically significant difference in the patient’s plasma ACTH and cortisol in both groups (P>0 .05) ,however ,before anesthesia ,the indexes of ACTH and cortisol in experimental group were much lower than that in control group (P<0 .05) . On the first day in hospital ,there was no statistically significant difference in SAS score between both groups (P>0 .05) .Before anesthesia the total SAS score in experimental group was much higher tham that in control group(P<0 .05) .Conclusion:“Playing a relative role” psychological intervention can effectively relieve preoper‐ative psychological stress of patients and improve the operation quality .
