Abstract:Objective:To probe into the effect of wet compress of Bactericide soaked gauze for preventing local tissue and venous injury caused by sodium aescinate. Methods:A total of 1 60 patients with the infusion of sodi-um aescinate were divided into observation group and control group 80 cases each.Patients in control group re-ceived wet compress by using 4 layer 7.5 cm×7.5 cm sterilized gauze soaked with 50% magnesium sulfate so-lution at the beginning of the input of sodium aescinate. The sterilized gauze was fixed by rubberized fabric after preservative film wrapping up and was taken down after 1h of transfusion.Patients in observation group re-ceived wet compress by using Bactericide soaked gauze(specification was 4 layer 7.5 cm×7.5 cm )at the begin-ning of the input of sodium aescinate. The sterilized gauze was fixed by covering transparent dressing paste and was taken down after 1h of transfusion. All patients in two groups both received wet compress above 5 cm of the puncture point along the vein lines. Results:The incidence of patients’phlebitis in observation group was signifi-cantly lower than that of the control group.Patients’pain in observation group occurred late and the degree was low. Conclusion:The wet compress of Bactericide soaked gauze can effectly reduce the incidence of local tissue and venous injury caused by sodium aescinate. Its analgesic effect is obvious.
