Enlightenment of doctor of nursing practice program in America on development of advanced nursing practice in China

Abstract：The spring up of the doctor of nursing practice (DNP)program greatly accelerated the development of advanced nursing practice in America.It has cultivated a large number of nursing personnel.At same time,it has standardized and improved the quality of nursing practice.Which made the nursing practice widely recog-nized and supported.However,the advanced nursing practice started later in China and developed slowly.And it didn’t form the unified standard.To develop the nursing practice in China through referencing the doctor of nursing practice in America was not only one way to train professional nurses,but also an important form of di-versified education for nursing graduates in China.
