Investigation on cognition of low grade of undergraduate nursing students on Hepatitis B and AIDS

Abstract：Objective:To understand the cognition and protection status of low grade undergraduate nursing students in school on hepatitis B and AIDS in a university in Zhuhai.Methods:A total of 423 students in school were extracted from grade one and grade two in nursing department by using stratified sampling method and based on literature self designed questionnaire.Results:Low grade of undergraduate nursing students have a higher mastering degree of hepatitis B and AIDS basic knowledge,but not comprehensive enough,they had a positive attitude to hepatitis and AIDS patients,but lack of the relevant protection knowledge.Conclusion:School should develop the hepatitis B and AIDS related health education and occupation protection education for students since entering into a school.
