Study on rubbing back shu points to relieve nausea and vomiting of patients after undergoing chemotherapy
Abstract：Objective:To observe the influence of rubbing back shu points on frequency and degree of nausea and vomiting in patients after chemotherapy.Methods:A total of 60 cases hospitalized patients receiving plati-num drugs treatment in chemotherapy scheme from gynecological and tumor surgery in our hospital during 2011 January to 2012 June,and all signed the informed consent and were willing to cooperate with this research.They were divided into control group and experimental group by using the random number table,30 cases in each group.The patients in control group received routine nursing care,the patients in experimental group received rubbing back shu points on the basis of the control group,then to observe the frequency and degree of patients vomiting,nausea and retching in two groups.Results:There was statistically significant difference in the fre-quency and severity degree of nausea,vomiting and retching between both groups patients(P<0.01).Conclu-sion:Rubbing back shu points can relieve frequency and extent of nausea,vomiting and retching of patients af-ter chemotherapy.
