Study on effect of nursing aesthetics incorporated into experimental teaching of“Fundamentals of nursing”
Abstract：Objective:To probe into the teaching effect of nursing aesthetics incorporated into the experimental teaching of “Fundamentals of nursing”.Methods:A total of 72 nursing undergraduates were randomly selected from the grade 2012 in nursing college and divided into test group and control group.36 cases each.Nursing aes-thetics was incorporated into the experimental teaching of “Fundamentals of nursing”in test group.While the students in control group were taught with the traditional approach.Students of the two groups were assessed with the final operation skills examination,theory test results and classroom teaching effect questionnaires.Re-sults:The theoretical achievements,the operation skill scores and total score of students in test group were high-er than those in control group.There was statistically significant difference (P<0.05 ).The evaluations of students in test group were higher than that of control group on learning interest,verbal expression,service atti-tude,aesthetic capacity,innovative capacity,professional thinking and professional image.There were statistical-ly significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The incorporation of nursing aesthetics into the experimental teaching of “Fundamentals of nursing”can enhance the academic performance and comprehensive quality of nursing students.
