Abstract：Objective:To know about the pension demands of parents of urban only child.Methods:A total of 270 parents of urban only child in urban community in Jiangsu province were investigated by using question-naires and interviews.Results:These surveyed parents desired to give them selves daily life care by their children and spouse,and they required that the government or society can provide related pension support.The monthly medical and pharmaceutical expenses and medical expenses source had a certain influence on economic,spiritual and older belonging demands.Conclusion:The endowment problems of only child parents are increasingly prominent.Children,society and government should meet their pension demands,reduce the worries of the old life.
