Research progress on application of povidone iodine solution in peritoneal irrigation in surgical operation

Abstract：From the aspects of the physicochemical properties,sterilization and killing tumor mechanism,pre-vention and treatment of infection in surgical peritoneal irrigation,tumor eradication and cytotoxicity of povi-done iodine,it reviewed the research status quo of application of povidone iodine solution in the surgical perito-neal irrigation.It considered that the use concentration of povidone iodine solution in surgical peritoneal irriga-tion didn’t have a definitive conclusion,and the relevant research reports didn’t occur on usage security of povi-done iodine solution in abdominal cavity and its effects for peritoneal tissue.
