Influence of whole nursing intervention on rehabil itation of children after thoracoscopic minimally invasive Nuss operation

Abstract:Objective:To probe into the influence of the specification and whole nursing intervention on the rehabilitation of ill children after thoraco-scopic minimally invasive Nuss operation.Methods:A total of 1 60 cases of ill children undergoing VATS minimally invasive Nuss operation were se-lected from department of cardiothoracic surgery in our hospital.They were divided into control group and observation group according to admission time,80 cases in each group.Children in control group were given conven-tional nursing,measurement of vital signs and prevention of complications. On this basis,ill children in observation group used whole nursing interven-tion,that is,before the operation the psychological intervention,respiratory training,nutritional support and preoperative bathing guidance were given to them;after operation,the monitoring of vital signs,pain management,the posture guiding,respiratory tract nursing,nutrition,activity instruction and postoperative follow up for them.Results:There were statistically signifi-cant differences in length of stay,cost of hospitalization,postoperative com-plications,comfort degree and satisfaction with nursing service between both groups (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion:throughout the perioperative whole nursing intervention can shorten the length of stay,reduce the incidence of complications effectively and enhance the comfort degree and satisfaction with nursing service.
