Research on correlation between different colostomy time and adapt degree and colostomy pressure in rectal carcinoma colostomy patients

Abstract：Obj ective:To probe into the degree of adaptation of stoma pa-tients in different colostomy time and stoma pressure level.Methods:A to-tal of 320 cases of patients after colostomy in three grade A hospital from December 2012 to October 2013 were investigated by using stoma adapta-tion questionnaire and colostomy patient pressure scale,then to compare the external pressure and adaptation level of patients in three different sta-ges<1 year,1~5 years,>5 years.Results:There was statistically signifi-cant difference in total degree of stoma adaptation score and continuing concerns,acceptance,positive life attitude scores among colostomy patients in three time periods including<1 year,1~5 years,>5 years after colosto-my(P<0.05);there was statistically significant difference in total stoma pressure score,physical illness stress,family stress,self concept changes, ostomy care stress scores in three time periods including <1 year 1~5 years,>5 years after colostomy operation;correlation analysis between ad-aptation degree of colostomy patients and pressure showed that accept-ance,positive attitude towards life scores were negatively correlated with stress levels,and continued worries score was positively correlated with the degree of pressure.Conclusion:Nursing staff should pay attention to pressure levels of colostomy patients in different stoma time periods,so as to further promote the adaptation of colostomy patients to stoma.
