Research progress on non verbal communication of artificial airway patients

Abstract：It reviewed the progress on clinical application of nonverbal com-munication which includes traditional nonverbal communication,modified nonverbal communication and comprehensive nonverbal communication be-tween nurses and patients with artificial airway.Reasonable choice of nonver-bal communication method can help patients to reduce their loneliness,anxie-ty,depression and fear from different sides.It suggested that medical practi-tioners should take a full consideration of patients’benefit according to the severity of the disease,cultural degree,economic conditions and other fac-tors,find personalized nonverbal communication way with low cost and high effect as soon as possible,so as to reflect the unique value of nursing science.
