Abstract:Obj ective:To compare the influence of 3 clinical common nursing dressing methods including physiological saline,4% boric acid solution, and 0.5% iodophor +3% hydrogen peroxide on wound healing in diabetic mice and normal mice,so as to explore the most suitable nursing dressing changes for diabetic refractory wound. Methods:A total of 30 male C57BL/6J mouse at age of 8 weeks were taken and divided in-to diabetic group and control group,1 5 cases in each. The streptozotocin (STZ induced)was placed on the back of diabetic mouse to make 3 equal sized full thickness skin wounds in them, and then the normal saline (A treatment),4% boric acid solution (B treatment)and 0.5% io-dophor +3% hydrogen peroxide solution (C treatment)were used re-spectively for dressing changes of three wounds once a day.The wound scab and infection were recorded and the wound healing rate was calcu-lated.Results:At the same time point,in A treatment wound healing rate of diabetic mice in diabetic group was significantly lower than that in control group;there was not statistically significant difference in wound healing rate of control group mouse among 3 different dressing treatment (P>0.05);the wound healing rate in diabetic mouse using B treatment was significantly higher than that of A and C treatments (P<0.05).Conclusion:3 kinds of dressing changes applied for wounds in normal mice have no significant influence on wound healing rate;boric acid solution used for wounds dressing changes in diabetic mice is more conducive to wound healing compared with other dressing changes.
