Abstract:To know about the status quo of cognition and coping of hypertensive patients on primary prevention of stroke,so as to provide the scientific basis for nursing work.Methods:A total of 300 cases of es-sential hypertension patients were investigated by using self designed general data questionnaire,primary prevention related knowledge scale and coping strategies questionnaire.Results:The related knowledge scale score and coping questionnaire score were at the general level,scores were re-spective (70.08±13.75)and (69.11±12.40);Multiple stepwise regres-sion analysis showed that gender,age,cultural level,place of residence, whether to hospitalize because of high blood pressure and family per capita income were the main influencing factors;at the same time,hypertemsion patient’s cognition to primary prevention of stroke was positively correla-ted to the coping.Conclusion:Cognition of hypertension patients to prima-ry prevention of stroke is in general level,and the coping is more positive. Nursing staff should strengthen propaganda and education strength on pri-mary prevention of stroke,so as to improve the ability of patients on the primary prevention of stroke.
