Abstract：It reviewed the pharmacological effects,dosage formulation,the dose,timing of administration,administration temperature and administra-tion type of rhubarb.It summarized the care points during rhubarb medica-tion,in order to provide the reference for application of rhubarb in promo-ting clinical recovery of gastrointestinal function in critically ill patients.
