Comparison of quality of life of leukemia inpatients between before and after chemotherapy
Abstract：Objective :To know about the influence of chemotherapy on the quality of life of leukemia inpatients .Methods :The world health organiza-tion quality of life scale short form (WHOQOL BREF) was used to in-vestigate quality of life of a total of 86 cases of leukemia inpatients before and after chemotherapy .Results :Quality of life scores ,the average scores of physiological and psychological dimensions in leukemia patients after chemotherapy were significantly higher than that of before chemotherapy . However the total score of quality of life and average score of physical di-mensions of leukemia in patients still significantly lower than the norm (P<0 .001) .Conclusion :The quality of life of leukemia inpatients was improved significantly after chemotherapy ,but it is still lower than the norm .Health demands of leukemia patients should be thought highly of .
