Study on anxiety,depression and subjective well being of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Abstract:Obj ective:To know about the status quo of subj ective well be-ing,anxiety and depression in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients,and to analyze the correlation among these indexes.Methods:A questionnaire survey was conducted among 164 hospitalized COPD patients with the Self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS),Self rating Depression Scale (SDS)and General Subj ective Well being Scale (GWB).Results:Among the 164 COPD patients,there were 42 patients (25.61%)who suffered anxi-ety and 76 patients (46.34%)who suffered depression.And there were 106 patients (64.63%)whose subjective well being scores were lower than the average of Chinese norm.The subj ective well being scores were negatively correlated with the score of anxiety(r=-0.772)and depression(r=-0.729)re-spectively.Conclusion:COPD patients have serious anxiety and their depres-sion,and their subj ective well being is poor,subj ective well being is closely related to anxiety and depression.COPD patients’psychological intervention should be strengthened.
