Approaches on Onset of Cerebral Apoplexy and Factors Related to Times
Abstract:To probe into the seasonal regularity of the onset of cerebralapoplex y, data from all together 931 cases of cerebral apoplexy were retrospectively an d statistically analyzed. Patients admitted to the neurology department from Jan .1997 to Dec. 1999. Results showed that the onset of cerebral apoplexy had overt seasonal changes. The incidence of cerebral infarction had no remarkable seasonal change. Whereas, the cerebral hemorrhage was more often occurred in both firs t quarter(Jan~Mar) and fourth quarter(Sep~Dec). Among the cerebral infarction patients, male usu ally developed it in both first quarter and second quarter(Apr~Jun) but in female, ther e were no seasonal differences. T here were no significant seasonal differences in terms of cerebral hemorrhage on set (P>0.05). Suggested that in first quarter and fourth quarter, one should strengthen s elf-health-care. So that, the incidence of cerebral apoplexy can be decreased.
