Factors of Holding up the Development of Nursing Scientific Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine and lts Countermeasures

Abstract：In the light of the status in quo of nursing scientific research in TCM is not well developed, analyses were done from both nurses themselves and nursing adminis trative personnel. Revealed that the factors of holding up the development of nursing scientific research in TCM were as follows: nurses with lower record of formal schooling, lack awareness of scientific research, with poor elementary knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, did not get used to reading specialty literatures. And among nurses, it was short of leading person in this subject etc. Most nursing administrative personnel pay no attention to the nursing scientific research and are lack of support.Suggested that nursing staff set up strong consciousness of scientific research to enhance the whole quality of the nurse group. Nursing administrators should think highly of the nursing scientific research in TCM and to assure it to be developed.
