Abstract:Objective To explore the application effect of COM-B model based modified narrative nursing combined with health education in patients after PCI for coronary heart disease. Methods 110 patients with coronary heart disease who underwent PCI treatment from May 2023 to April 2025 were selected.Patients were randomly divided into two groups by the random number method,55 cases each group. The control group was given conventional nursing, while the observation group was given the COM-B model based modified narrative nursing combined with health education. The 6-minute walking distance(6 MWD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),coronary heart disease self-management behavior(CSMS),health-promoting lifestyle(HPLP-Ⅱ),quality of life of Chinese cardiovascular patients(CQQC),and the incidence of MACE after surgery were compared between two groups. Results Two months after the operation,in both groups the 6 MWD was longer and LVEF was higher than those one day before the operation, and the 6 MWD and LVEF of observation group were greater than those of control group(P<0.05).Two months after the operation, the scores of each dimension of CSMS,HPLP-Ⅱ and CQQC in both groups were higher than those 1 day before the operation, and the scores of each dimension of CSMS,HPLP-Ⅱ and CQQC in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The incidence of MACE after surgery in observation group was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The COM-B model based modified narrative nursing combined with health education can effectively improve the cardiac function of patients after PCI for coronary heart disease, enhance self-management behaviors and quality of life, promote patients to cultivate a healthy lifestyle, and reduce the incidence of MACE.
