Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical effect of radiofrequency ablation on relieving inguinal pain caused by cervical cancer radiotherapy, and to evaluate its impact on patients'quality of life. Methods 80 patients from April 2022 to April 2024 with inguinal pain after radiotherapy of cervical cancer in Changzhou Second People's Hospital were divided into two groups by random number table method.Conventional medication and physical therapy were used in the control group, while the observation group received radiofrequency ablation under ultrasound guidance.Pain levels, quality of life and treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the pain score of the observation group decreased significantly, which was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05).At the same time, the quality of life scores of the observation group were significantly improved in all dimensions(P<0.05).In terms of treatment satisfaction,it was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional therapy, radiofrequency ablation is more targeted and effective in the treatment of inguinal pain caused by cervical cancer radiotherapy. It can not only effectively relieve pain and improve the quality of life, but also improve the treatment satisfaction of patients due to its characteristics of minimal invasion, safety and quick recovery.
