Application of risk awareness management under motivational behavior transformation in postoperative nursing of elderly patients with hip fractures

Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of risk awareness management under motivational behavior transformation in postoperative nursing of elderly patients with hip fracture.Methods 104 elderly patients with hip fracture admitted to Changzhou Second People's Hospital from January 2023 to July 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and were divided into control group(n=52)and observation group(n=52)according to different nursing methods.The control group was given routine nursing,and the observation group was given risk awareness management under motivational behavior transformation based on routine nursing.The complication rate,Harris hip function scale(HHS)score,Functional Independence Scale(FIM)score and Self-care Ability Scale(ESCA)score before and 6 months after nursing were compared between the two groups.Results The proportion of patients with deep vein thrombosis,pressure ulcer,fall and infection in the observation group was 3.85%,lower than that in the control group(17.31%,χ2=4.981,P<0.05).After nursing,pain score(37.82±2.92),gait score(18.01±1.71),walking distance score(9.02±0.77),daily activity score(11.74±1.04),deformity score(3.44±0.21),joint motion score(4.12±0.25)and total score(84.15±7.71)in the observation group were all higher than those in control group(t=6.283,4.555,9.957,11.058,12.084,6.874,7.276,respectively,P<0.05).After nursing,FIM score(94.12±3.95)and ESCA score(103.25±10.09)in observation group were higher than those in control group(t=10.930,4.125,respectively,P<0.05).Conclusion The risk awareness management under the transformation of motivation behavior can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications,promote the recovery of hip function,and improve the independence and self-care ability of patients.
