Abstract:Objective To evaluate the application effect of a full-course nursing checklist based on the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery(ERAS)concept in patients undergoing laparoscopic total hysterectomy. Methods Two hundred patients who underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy in the Gynecology Department of Changzhou Second People's Hospital from May 2022 to April 2023 were randomly selected as research subjects.A random number table was used to divide the patients into a control group and an observation group, with 100 patients in each group. The control group received traditional nursing care, while the observation group received the same care as the control group plus a full-couse nursing checklist based on ERAS principles. The postoperative recovery and complication rates of the two groups were compared. Results The overall complication rate in the observation group was 2.0%,significantly lower than the 9.0%in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The observation group showed significantly shorter times of bowel sound recovery[(15.01±0.39)hours],first ambulation[(16.47±0.29)hours],first oral intake[(4.19±0.10)hours]and hospital stay[(4.58±0.07)days]compared with the control group, all with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of a full-course nursing checklist based on the ERAS concept in the care of patients undergoing laparoscopic total hysterectomy can significantly reduce the incidence of complications and enhance the postoperative recovery outcomes.
