Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of acupuncture on wound pain and inflammatory factors after external dissection and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods 180 patients undergoing external dissection and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids admitted in kunshan sixth people's hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were selected and randomly divided into two groups,an acupuncture group and a control group, with 90 cases in each. The control group received routine treatment, and the acupuncture group received acupuncture treatment. The changes in wound pain on the 1st,3rd and 5th days after operation, the inflammation indicators before and after treatment, perioperative indicators, efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The effects of different intervention measures on patients' wound pain,C-reactive protein and IL-6 over time,as well as the interaction of group with time, and the time factors and acupuncture(group)factors were all statistically significant(F=8.459,21.192,68.634,all P<0.05).The hospitalization time, postoperative wound healing time and first postoperative defecation time of patients in the acupuncture group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of curative effect in the acupuncture group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions Acupuncture effectively relieves wound pain after external dissection and internal ligation of mixed hemorrhoids and reduces the level of inflammatory factors in patients.
