Abstract:The patient was diagnosed with gastric antrum cancer and underwent total laparoscopic distal gastrectomy,D2 lymph node dissection, and Billroth II+Braun anastomosis.During the surgery, barbed wire was used to suspend the liver for easier exposure of the surgical area. After completing the resection of the stomach and lymph node dissection,a small incision was made in the upper abdomen to remove the specimen and examine the surgical margins.Subsequently, under endoscopy, the Brown anastomosis of the jejunum was performed, followed by gastrointestinal anastomosis. This type of anastomosis is particularly advantageous for patients with obesity and narrow sternum angles.
