Application of PBL teaching method in the teaching of gynecological single-port laparoscopy in primary hospitals

Abstract：Objective To explore the application value of problem based learning(PBL)in the teaching of gynecological single port laparoscopy in primary hospitals.Methods A total of 40 obstetrician and gynecologists from primary hospitals participated in the suitable technology training course of Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center from March 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects.They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,20 cases in each group.The control group accepted the traditional teaching method and simulated cavity mirror training,the experimental group accepted the PBL teaching method and simulated cavity mirror training.After the teaching,the teaching effects was evaluated through the theoretical test,the clinical skill assessment and the teaching effect questionnaire survey.Results The theoretical test and clinical skill assessment scores of the experimental group were all higher than those in the control group[(85.20±12.60)scores vs.(77.00±10.40)scores]、[(86.30±7.60)scores vs.(76.12±4.32)scores],and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The teaching effect questionnaire showed that more than 80.0%of the doctors thought that PBL teaching method was superior to the traditional teaching method.Conclusion PBL teaching method has a good application effect in gynecological single-port laparoscopic teaching in primary hospitals.
